A thought

My thought of the night would have to fall into the category of things I’d love to make before I die.  Ever watched a movie and saw something and say to yourself, “That’s really cool, how do I get one of those?”  I did recently and decided that I would indeed like to have a Thunderdome built in someone’s backyard.  I’ll give you a minute to let that thought sink in.

…..

Ok, so I think that we’d need a lot of metal and some people that can weld.  And a football field backyard to construct this.  I haven’t figured out what we would use this for and i hope people can give us some ideas, I mean what good is it to build something if you aren’t going to use it?  So think about it and get back to any of us at the website, any time of day, the email boxes are always open.

Another Edition of Hompco?

Well if anyone was going to post, wouldn’t you prefer me to do it?  I would as I’m the only one that lives outside a cage around here. Today I’d like to rant about something that has troubled me my entire life. That’s right, the Sun.

Think how many days when driving that it shines in your eyes… it’s a safety hazard!

Or making the air so hot that the trees just burst into flames… it causes air pollution!

And it just sits there in the sky all day, really can’t it go out and get a job like the rest of us?

So this is my declaration of War against the Sun.  We need to find a way to put it out and since it’s a big ball of fire… all we gotta do is fling enough water at it and it will go out.  And I’m still working on building a big enough slingshot to throw that many buckets of water up there.

A Quick Dragon Con Thought

This my friends is the reason you Always take a friend with you when you get smashed at a con.  Not to help you find the room, or to keep you from jumping the stormtroopers in the lobby, but to take pics when you do things that you would NEVER do in your right mind.

New Update?

Ok, so it’s been a while, but I have a reason. See, I forgot my own password again and had to hack into my own account. So here goes…

Dragon Con was pretty fun, or at least that’s what I was told since I don’t remember some of it.  I still haven’t received my mountain of fan mail that was promised to me by our web department. “If you write, people will mail and ask questions” they told me.

So the website being the ultimate source of knowledge I figured I’d share a recipe with you all today. I call it “Glop”

You will need: A Cookpot, Water, A bag of noodles, Shredded Cheese, and Cream of Mushroom soup.

Put the Water in the cookpot and put the cookpot on the stove. Make the water boil, I don’t really care how, but I found that turning the stove to super hot does it.

Then, Once the water is boiling, Add the noodles. I prefer squiggly noodles for this job.

Once the noodles are boiling and soft, strain the noodles and dispose of the water. (Note if on the second floor or higher, tossing the water out the window onto the bums below is not the best idea for disposal.)

Now put the noodles back in the cookpot and begin to add the cheese and soup. Stir it all together for a few minutes.

Let cool and serve. You can also add meat to the Glop to enhance the nutritional value.

HompCo on the Town

Last night was a great night.  We went out and saw some live music and did some playing of instruments when we got back to the base.

10PM: We run to the liquor store for a couple bottle of mind numbing drinks.

10:45: We arrive at the Pilot Light downtown Knoxville.  And let me add that if you have never been to this place, you owe it to yourself to go at least once.  I go to try to read all the graffiti in the rest rooms.

11:00: The first band comes out and plays a set of happy songs, sad songs, and songs that I have no clue what’s going on.  We came with the intention to support indie artists, and we did.  Immediately we began to cheer as the band set up.  Mush have been their first show as they weren’t sure what to do when this happened. So during the saddest song I have heard in a long time, my companions begin to giggle and laugh and muffle it.  Why you ask? Because of the Blistering Kazoo Solos. Honest. A few more songs were played and due to our rhythmic swaying of our group, the singer has to stop to laugh mid-song.

Midnight: The second act comes out and asks us how we found out about the show. We said we were there for the first band and whomever was next. Seems the lady with the guitar was next… Who knew? The set was slooooooow with songs that none of us knew. Many a can of cheap beer was had that night by us. Almost making us wish we had smuggled the liquor into the venue.  Not that anyone would have cared probably.

1:15 am: We all wake up to go back to the car. We managed to score some free hot dogs from the guy with the jacked up grill.  So we stopped at a gas station and saw a bum who I honestly believe was talking to us in a language that can not be understood by mere mortals.  We left.

All and all, the night was just above a total bust, but not by much. 3.5/10

Happy stoner day!
Been a while since anyone has posted here so I fugured I’d drop by and enlighten you as to what we’ve been up to.

Eagle Van – Been checking it out lately, hopefully we will get some pictures of it.  We are taking ideas for the paint job, just mail me.  We have some ideas including airbrushing of a desert scene, some wizards, and the Virgin Mary.  Not sure how we will work the desert into the sceme though.

Major updates – We have a couple in the works. I promise! Just getting the unemployed guy to take time from his uber busy schedule of sleeping until 1 pm and going back to bed at 2 pm so we can have something nice to entertain people with.

Dragon Con – Gearing up for a big one.  5th one for me and number 10 I think for a couple of us.  Grats on not dying.

Keep those comments and questions coming! I answer a million emails a day from all our fans and if you mail I will answer yours too!

Away

I’ve been away a few days, seems I have come down with a mystery illness that we will call.. the plague.  So the plague makes me not want to work or eat.  So I take this time to share with you some ways to avoid the plague.

1. Don’t go to work and if you don’t have a job you are ahead of the game.
2. If you have to work, don’t talk to people.  They have the plague even if they look normal.
3. Kids, breed the plague, don’t touch.
4. Consume booze, as it kills plague germs.
5. I would also recommend wearing shorts all winter as the plague germs hate cold weather.  Kills them dead.
